Hi, my name is Erin Kerns, and I am the founder and owner of Kerns Designs. I have been making things with my hands for most of my life. I learned to sew from my mom, won a sewing award in the 7th grade, and have been crafting ever since. I officially named my business Kerns Designs back in 2017, became an LLC in 2019, and the rest is history. Owning a small business is hard work, and it is finally paying off. I am doing something that I love!
I moved to Colorado in 2003, and presently reside in Denver with my fiance, Jarett, a bluegrass musician, and our two dogs, Mack Daddy & Libby Style. I worked in the restaurant business for 28 years, have degrees in Mass Communication and Marketing, Elementary Education, and Nutrition, and find myself in a position to move towards working for myself. The past few years have brought about a lot of change in my life. I changed careers in 2021 and became a Real Estate Agent. Quarantine allowed me the time to evaluate my life, focus on my business, and concentrate on making it a reality. And here we are. I built this website in the hopes of moving forward.
